Hey there! I've been boffing for about a year or two now and I was wondering if anyone else here does too.

for those who dont know what it is: Take 3/4" Pvc pipe and wrap it in foam, duct tape around it and swordfight. It can get pretty brutal at times, like just the other day I thought I may have broken my finger from a swift hit to the middle knuckle. My hand swelled up like a melon.

Also. If anyone DOES boff here, are there any good video's to watch? All the ones I watch on Youtube, they're full of pansies.

No I just use wooden swords......

me and my friends do general "sparing"
But its a bit (alot) more brutal..
Its actually becoming somewhat of a fight club,
and we have over 30 partisipants =]

PANZIES!!! I prefer to use massive sticks! Such as this one!

Anyways, at my friend's house I fought with my buddy. He sucked, and he had done it like five times before...but it was still fun. I do use sticks in my backyard sometimes when I'm bored (nobody's posting on VU)...I also have a metal rapier

BS alert from this point on...

(with a razor sharp edge and an end that could poke a hole in a diamond) that I use sometimes. When my friends say VU is for wussies I challenge them to a duel in the backyard, I then fight them to the death! They have their choice of weapon (a branch, a leaf, or a pogo stick) and I have mine (a razor sharp rapier, my katana, or metal pipe). I give them a chance...

The rapier is actually blunt on the sides, but the end is a little pointy. I have an extremely dangerous katana though.

Btw, Stickman, don't break any of your mouse fingers or Demonsul and I will have to fill in for you...

Stickman, boffing IS brutal, the videos you see online are just filled with pus*ies. We draw blood very often from eyebrows, mouths, knuckles, knees, elbows and nose. Our group of people has been trying to get it more popular around the school but the school board says it's to dangerous.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I announce to you a good freind that I boff with. Cairn ^ . Him and I are pretty even at it though. It's still a lot of fun.

@Salaracen - Yes, like I said, youtube video's are filled with little girls. My group gets into it and doesnt care about getting hit. Yes, I only paintball during summer though, it REALLY sucks in the winter when you get hit in the hand when your cold. Blood bath on the knuckles.

@Penguin - Yes, If you want to get into boffing, get a few freinds together. 2 people is fun for duels but the bigger the group, the funner it gets.

@PJ - Semi-class my but, your the poo stain on society's underpants. Jerk.

@Cairn - Dude, You and I need to go to sunbirds and get some more supplys for boffing, I want to make another long sword and a swallow. and you need to make a sheild.
